Glenn Greenwald interview – nothing new to see here. Nothing to do? How do we convene a Truth Commission or Congressional hearing? Germany’s doing it.
After watching yesterday’s interview with Glenn Greenwald on Democracy Now about the Muslim lawyers and civil rights leaders that were spied upon,(1) I was glad to see that new documents had been brought forward to the public for all to see, finally. I emailed a friend about the information. He encouraged me to look further because he said Greenwald and his information were a waste of time.
By looking further, it is interesting what I found out. This is more than controlled opposition, it seems to be psychologically controlled opposition or ‘cognitive infiltration’ to prevent action and real law enforcement investigation on crimes that have been committed within the United States, internationally and on American people, as well as on people residing in many countries. If we follow their story line, no wonder no law gets changed and no one gets arrested for breaking the law by violating the Constitution, committing war crimes and perjuring themselves before Congress, as James Clapper did. There is too much blocking through bickering and nonsense debate for a law enforcement action to occur. This blocking is not happening in Germany currently, and some day the American public may wake up very surprised when the information is presented without the cognitive infiltrator in between.
Think about the latest Greenwald story, we knew Muslim groups were being targeted by the NYPD and other agencies, as there have been hundreds of articles written about this. Is any of the information here surprising in the Democracy Now interview? What is surprising is that there is no action being taken at the core of the story, to end this invasive, illegal surveillance. It is like through the reporting of the story, everyone can say, “see I knew that was happening” and no one has to do anything about it. They can argue about the characters and circumstances, never prosecute the real crime.
We have all been managed in the slow-dose release of information, without further information presented from whistle-blowers-those who knew 7-10 years ago – being allowed to speak out with as much prominence as Glen Greenwald and Edward Snowden.
Is it any surprise that Greenwald is two degrees of separation away from Salvadore ”Sal” Gambianco, who sits on the board of directors of Booz Allen Hamilton Holdings, Snowden’s previous employer? And Gambianco is one of the major investors in Ebay with Pierre Omidyar, e-Bay founder who created the Intercept with Greenwald.
So how did this start and why?
According to an article by Yoichi Shimatsu entitled “Saving Agent Snowden From His Handlers Greenwald & Omidyar,” they all fall under “NSA’s Big Tent.” (2)
“Booz Allen and Omidyar Network are corporate members of an NSA-linked consortium called Innocentive, a consultancy focused on crowdsourcing (read: data-mining of public-opinion polls, consumer surveys and Internet-based personal data). Other member-companies include In-Q-Tel, a developer of communications monitoring software spawned with millions in start-up capital from the CIA,” said Shimatsu.
“Also represented is the In-Q-Tel spin-off Palantir, which creates fictive personas or virtual trolls to mount smear campaigns to debunk or threaten journalists and critical websites online and in letters to editors. Palantir, which refers to itself as an “electronic warfare” firm, has created a meta-data collection program similar to the NSA’s PRISM. Michael Leiter, former head of the National Counter-Terrorism Center, is the executive counsel to Palantir.
“Another corporate partner in Innocentive is Lilly Ventures, the investment arm of Eli Lilly pharmaceuticals, which produced LSD for the MK-ULTRA mind-control program and is now the lead partner in the Obama-sponsored national brain-mapping project. Full-spectrum surveillance is advancing from wireless electronics into the bio-network of the human synapses, the last frontier for total mind control. The objective of pre-crime pre-cognition, that is, the detection of criminal tendencies, for instance, resistance to authority, and intervention before the crime can happen. Using drugs to impair the mental capabilities of individuals is, of course, only a part of a wider and larger program of social engineering to ensure domination of the globalist elites over any increasingly dependent and expendable population.
“As birds of the feather that flock together, Booz Allen Hamilton and Omidyar Network are a pair of ducks in the NSA-CIA pond. These intelligence links are so thinly guised, it begets belief that an attorney like Greenwald who practiced law in New York City could be so oblivious to the conflict of interest in regard to the security of his client Edward Snowden.
“Either Glenn Greenwald is a gullible village idiot or he is one of many actors planted in this spy charade. Nobody in the intelligence game is allowed to be that naive, especially when it is crystal clear from these interlocking corporate connections that Pierre Omidyar is hardly an innocent when he has every incentive to work on behalf of Booz Allen and the NSA to recover the Snowden files.”
Something’s questionable here with these connections, and how about ‘cognitive infiltration?’ How does this relate to the story?
According to another blog article by Lila on mindbodypolitic.com titled, “Greenwald-backer Omidyar: front for CIA, data-mining, biowarfare.” (3) Greenwald was setup to appear as the “Good Cop” in a “Good Cop -Bad Cop Debate” on Democracy Now with surveillance czar Cass Sustein. Sustein’s has a program with the goal of “cognitive infiltration” of conspiracy theorists. Sustein is also married to Samantha Power, US Ambassador to the United Nations.
When thinking that the term conspiracy theorist was used by the CIA to cover up questioning the Warren Commission Report and the “Single (Magic) Bullet Theory” with the Kennedy Assassination you have to wonder what Sustein is up to, and if it his cognitive infiltrators are diverting attention away from crime.
Lila said, “Shimatsu’s thesis is that the super-snitch (Snowden) was a patsy in a frame-up concocted by lawyer-blogger Glenn Greenwald and that Greenwald is one of the infiltrators promised by Obama’s surveillance czar, Cass Sunstein.”
“Cass Sunstein’s program had as its goal the cognitive infiltration of conspiracy theorists.
“First, activists and dissidents were gulled by Greenwald’s performance as ‘good cop’ opposite Sunstein’s ‘bad cop’ in a well-publicized face-off. That enabled Greenwald to lure his readers into the banal legal quibbling that diverted outrage against the Bush administration’s war crimes from effective prosecution into toothless debate.”
It seems pretty likely the goal is to detract from prosecuting Bush Administration Officials for war crimes. This seems to be the reason for cognitive infiltration.
Looking further into cognitive infiltration, an article by Daniel Tencer in the Raw Story, “Obama staffer wants ‘cognitive infiltration’ of 9/11 conspiracy groups,” (4) outlines the background and potential reasoning behind using this method to dissuade people from looking into issues to find understanding of world events, and encouraging them instead to trust the main stream narrative.
“Cass Sunstein, a Harvard law professor, co-wrote an academic article entitled ‘Conspiracy Theories: Causes and Cures,’ in which he argued that the government should stealthily infiltrate groups that pose alternative theories on historical events via ‘chat rooms, online social networks, or even real-space groups and attempt to undermine’ those groups,” said Tencer,
You can download the PDF of the article here. (5)
Why? What is their purpose? Why not actually investigate what is being brought up?
It is like Officer Barbrady from South Park is now working for the National Security Agency saying, “Nothing to see here, nothing to see.” People have a right to question, investigate and have their questions answered truthfully by those they pay with their tax dollars.
Sustein served the Obama administration as the head of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs until about two years ago. At the time, he was in charge of ‘overseeing policies relating to privacy, information quality, and statistical programs,’ according to the White House Web site. Although, Sustein left this office two years ago, the debate with Greenwald and his theories are still relevant in regards to means of control used by those who seek to limit enforcement action for war crimes by using ‘cognitive infiltration’ to cover up “un-approved” investigation.
The very meaning of investigation means “a searching inquiry for ascertaining facts; detailed or careful examination.” There are some people who do not want ordinary people to look for facts, especially when there is such a tremendous opportunity for all to be known by the public with the internet.
According to “Sunstein’s article, published in the Journal of Political Philosphy in 2008 and recently uncovered by blogger Marc Estrin, (6) states that ‘our primary claim is that conspiracy theories typically stem not from irrationality or mental illness of any kind but from a ‘crippled epistemology,’ in the form of a sharply limited number of (relevant) informational sources,'” said Tencer.“Sunstein, whose article focuses largely on the 9/11 conspiracy theories, suggests that the government ‘enlist nongovernmental officials in the effort to rebut the theories. It might ensure that credible independent experts offer the rebuttal, rather than government officials themselves. There is a tradeoff between credibility and control, however. The price of credibility is that government cannot be seen to control the independent experts.’ ”
So based on his statement, the government does control the experts to some extent. With the recent nuclear 9/11 articles by Gordon Duff based on leaked intelligence documentation, (7) it may be clear why Sustein was so focused on 9/11.
You also have to wonder about the “good cop,” Glen Greenwald and what path his information sets his reader on when, for the most part, the information has been released before but not accepted by the media until he revealed it.
Very few wrote about Russ Tice, who in 2005 “alleged that both NSA and the DIA were engaged in unlawful and unconstitutional conduct against the American people.”
Why? Snowden proved Tice correct, so why did we have to wait, and why was nothing done in 2005? People obviously knew then, and tried to block investigation into the NSA by discrediting Tice. Why is no one investigating who discredited Tice and the many other whistle-blowers who came forward that suffered painful consequences including William Binney, Thomas Drake and others. The others were more experienced and credible NSA employees than Snowden. Germany seems to recognize this as they just held a hearing where both Binney and Drake testified.
According to an article in the Irish Times, “Binney, who for 30 years was a cryptomathematician and technical director at the NSA, resigned in October 2001 in protest at what he calls the agency’s ‘wrong turn’, using the 9/11 attacks to justify a mass global surveillance drive. ‘The goal is control of the people,’ he told German MPs. ‘They want to have information about everything; this is really a totalitarian approach.’ ”(8)
Perhaps for the American audience, the right rabbit had to lead us down the rabbit hole, insuring the SSG’s safety and the safety of structure they had created for manipulating the public.
Oh wait, that’s a conspiracy. It’s finally more than a theory, and there are probably 100 or more whistle-blowers ready to discuss what they know in a US Court of Law or Congressional hearing, if it is still possible here in America. At least one happened in Germany.
So how do we convene a Truth Commission or Congressional hearing, perhaps Patrick Fitzgerald will help. He is familiar with Greenwald as he was the US Attorney that went to court against Greenwald’s former client Matthew Hale.
True investigation needs to be brought into American public view, and justice will provide true national security. War crimes and lies should not be hidden by cognitive infiltrators. Our country is at stake. Why wait for others to bring charges when this leaves us open? We must begin to be accountable and then we will finally be free.
